There's someone I'd like you to meet...

A couple of weeks ago now, a very special man entered my life. I realised today that I hadn't officially introduced him on the blog and so that absolutely had to change. So, I'd like to introduce you to Dexter! Our incredibly handsome long haired miniature Dachshund, who is now 10 weeks old.

Just a few days after we picked him up, we hosted a little gathering to introduce him to our friends. Even the 'cat people' - and by that I mean people who love cats, not people who dress up like one - were overcome with love when they first held little Dexter! Yes, talking about you Hannah!

Now, two weeks on from living with Charlie and I, our gorgeous baby boy is feeling very at home, and is starting to realise that we love him SO much that even when he is naughty, we often let him get away with it.... So he loves to sneak into the garden and burrow amongst the flowers, hide under the sofa and gnaw at every possible surface.

We opened up some bottles of Prosecco and Ros� from Waitrose Cellar to celebrate the arrival of our new little man! The afternoon was filled with Dexter cuddles, gossiping and enjoying the last of the Summer sunshine - oh and some delicious BBQ and picnic snacks too!
