Falling for the Sixties

There are 3 key trends that will be playing an essential part in building your Autumn Wardrobe.

You'll be needing some sixties style key pieces, such as these high waisted trousers; a functional and fabulous trench coat (mine just happens to be floral, but yours doesn't have to be!); and some form of Chloe dupe bag! Or you know, the real thing - a girl can dream!

This #ootd ticks all of those boxes, and what I adore about it is that truly, it's as simple as a white blouse and high waisted trousers. Yep, that's all there is to it, but add in my other two autumn essentials and you have a chic and on-trend Autumn outfit.

All of these essential pieces just happen to be from my favourite high street stores, this floral cord trench coat adds instant sixties style points to any look, and this and the tailored cigarette trousers are a cute neutral staple which will most definitely transition your wardrobe from one season to the next.

Today I'm strutting the Dorothy Perkins sandals - the perfect shoe for taking me from Summer to Autumn, as the neutral tone goes with all my soon-to-be-autumn ensembles. My Chloe Drew Dupe bag adds a designer luxe finish to this outfit and all that's needed to complete the look is some retro cat eye sunglasses.
