Black & Gold

For my final post before Christmas, I wanted to share my most festive and fabulous outfit to date. I'm not usually one to wear black, but when I laid eyes on this black & gold jacquard ballerina dress by Ted Baker, I knew it simple had to be mine. 

To capture the magic of the look, Jay and I headed to the beautiful Great Fosters hotel in Virginia Water, where the luxurious tudor rooms provided the perfect setting. Starting with my favourite Tom Ford lipstick, of course, the makeup look was a glowing yet classic look, completed with my Hourglass Bronzer. My essentials were enclosed within this fabulous suede sphere bag by Reiss (currently in the sale, might I add!) which perfectly matches my black and gold sandals - a wardrobe staple which I purchased from Reiss two Winters ago.

Being petite, I'm often wary of midi length dresses, but something about this style seemed too perfect for it not to become an essential part of my wardrobe. It's elegant, classical and absolutely feminine.

Time to Sparkle & Swarovski Giveaway!

It's finally here! Sunshine has made it's official debut in London and although we can never be too sure if the rain and cloudy days are over for good, I sure am going to take advantage of every single minute I can to soak up the oh-so-glorious sun.

Ascot is the perfect excuse to dress up, so I chose my prettiest and most elegant new favourite; this embroidered floral dress from Ted Baker. The stunning embroidered white petal details give this dress a nod to the Spring and Summer trends but without being too overwhelming, and the fit and flare shape is my absolute favourite silhouette for a dressy occasion. With the neutral shade of the dress, I a statement bracelet  from the latest Swarovski stardust collection in a sophisticated navy shade, the tiny crystals within the fishnet tube are a modern way of wearing the sparkling beads, while still making a stylish statement. I also chose the timeless Daytime White Watch from Swarovski, which is an accessory that I've been reaching for on special occasions as well as on an ever day bases. The white silver dial is set with 48 clear crystals, and the calfskin leather strap give this watch a feminine and ladylike look.

My bag is my absolute favourite Rebecca Minkoff Marble tote bag, which just seems to be the perfect piece for every occasion, whether a day trip or a special occasion, it's been my favourite purchase of 2015 so far!
